How does my lettering arrive?

Your lettering is cut, weeded, and coated in a transfer tape ready to install as a completed pre spaced strip. Installation instructions and videos are available in our instructions section. We have many optional installation accessories located in our accessories section.

About our vinyl

We use a variety of vinyl types depending on the colors you order. Standard colors are produced with a 3M 6 year vinyl/laminate combination (which will often last longer). Specialty colors can vary greatly depending on the specific color. In general specialty films carry at least a 3 year outdoor life as rated by the manufacturer. Need better adhesive? Our high tack adhesive option is ideal for low energy plastics like kayaks and waverunners.

About Our Custom Numbers

We'll guide you through the process of creating matching Godfrey Marine numbers when you click design now. Each state has specific verbiage as to their requirements. The general requirements for boat hull identification numbers are as follows:

• A minimum of 3" letter height
• A block style font such as (impact or arial black)
• Generally located on the forward hull portion of the boat next to the DNR tag
• A contrasting color to base color of your boat.
• Letters separated by a space or a dash (-)
